Location: London, UK (Hybrid - thrice a week)
We are seeking talented Product Owners at various experience levels to join our team, helping us advance surgical education, clinical documentation, and connected medical device software. You’ll work in an Agile environment to turn ideas into products that make a real difference in healthcare.
About the Role
As a Product Owner, you will:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with our product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, R&D, Regulatory, and Product Management) to deliver high-quality, compliant software.
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Partner with UX and Product to guide user research, design validation, and feature discovery.
- Monitor product performance, identify improvements, and drive continuous delivery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485, SaMD).
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and refine the team backlog (features, defects, enablers).
- Facilitate sprint planning and define sprint goals.
- Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and validate acceptance criteria.
- Participate in roadmap planning and define release content.
- Collaborate with Tech Comms on release notes and user documentation.
- Understand and sequence enabler work with Engineering.
- Support team demos and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience

Associate / Junior Product Owner (1–3 years)
- Exposure to Agile product delivery or UX/design within software development.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Interest or background in healthcare technology or medical devices.
Mid-Level Product Owner (3–5 years)
- Proven experience managing Agile backlogs and working with cross-functional software teams.
- Understanding of healthcare or regulated software environments (ISO 13485 preferred).
- Experience translating research and user needs into technical requirements.
Senior Product Owner / Product Manager (5+ years)
- Leadership experience across full product lifecycle—from discovery to post-launch.
- Deep understanding of clinical workflows, interventional or surgical imaging (C-arms, angiography, etc.) preferred.
- Expertise in healthcare software, digital devices, or enterprise B2B health systems.
- Formal Scrum certification and experience working in regulated environments.
Desired Skills
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience working directly with clinicians or hospital teams.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications, EHR integration, or SaMD solutions.
- Willingness to travel (some overnight stays, UK/EU/US).
