Business Administrator Apprentice
Job Purpose:
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel
of visitor arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system.
Role
Role Duties:
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring
enquiries.
• Maintains the firm’s security by following procedures, monitoring logbook and visitor’s
book.
• To support all staff within the team.
• To show an active commitment to the firm’s equality and diversity policy, quality
frameworks and health and safety procedures.
• Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions,
irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Keeping all electronic and paper records up to date and in line with our compliance
procedures, according to the Office Manual ie Case management systems and accounts
packages.
• To assist in updating and maintenance of all central databases using a range of online
tools.
• To actively participate in Continuous Professional Development including the introduction
of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the firm.
• Dealing with client ID and documents, entering onto the case management system.
• Attending incoming and outgoing post each day.
• Stationery stock and ordering.
• Archiving of closed files.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Career progression will be discussed at the end of the apprenticeship.
