The Cancer Directorate are looking to recruita highly motivated team member to support the Quality Management team inmaintainingthe Cancer Directorate quality management systemwhich encompasses six specialisms that attend over 5,000 new patients per annum.
The Cancer Directorate Quality Management team providescross directorate support for:
Documentmanagement
Audit
Risk and incident management
Inspection preparation
Governance data preparation and analysis
All to ensurewe make informed decisions around patient safetyandare compliant forexternal accreditations/surveys such as CQC, CHKS and JACIE.
Main duties of the job
Tomaintainquality controlled documents of the Cancer Directorate and defined service(s) as required by the Quality Assurance Manager(s).
Maintainaccuraterecords of all updates to documents using databases and specialized quality management software and controlled documents register(s).
Manage andmaintainthe posting and updating of documents to the local intranet.
Assist the Cancer Directorate Quality Assurance Managers in the extraction and presentation of information to ensure a robust governance process and for external inspections.

Qualifications
- - Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ
Experience
- Experience of working in a busy clerical/office environment or reception service
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience of using IT packages such as Microsoft Office
- Prioritising and organising own work
- Previous experience of data entry
- Working within guidelines
- Previous experience of problem solving
- Quality management experience
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Experience of using Quality Management Software such as Q-Pulse
- Previous experience of publishing to Intranet pages.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of confidentiality and data Protection

- Some basic knowledge of BSI 9001 and JACIE standards would be an advantage
