Imaging PACS/RIS Administrator
Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the CUH PACS Team within Imaging.
The Imaging Directorate is part of Division B, a clinical division which also includes Cancer, Pathology, Genomics and Clinical Support services. This extensive department provides a full range of diagnostic services including general and specialist plain film, cross-sectional and interventional diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, PET CT and Breast screening, all of which are connected to the CUH PACS system for image storage and review.
Main duties of the job
You will support the CUH PACS Management Team to help deliver high quality patient care in order to achieve the department's objectives.
You will have experience in PACS/RIS and have strong interpersonal skills.
Your main focus will be undertaking and overseeing both inbound and outbound image transfer, providing a timely and efficient services for all users across the Trust.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to A Level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience in Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ in a relevant subject or equivalent previous proven experience
- Health coaching qualification or equivalent
- Admin or equivalent experience
- Foundation Degree/Post Graduate Diploma
Experience
- Demonstrable experience of working in a small busy team environment
- Demonstrable level of leadership and administrative experience at a high level of competence
- Demonstrable experience of using PACS & IEP
- Demonstrable experience of using Epic
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations with both colleagues and service users
- Demonstrable experience of undertaking accurate data entry
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act
- Knowledge of NHS issues
- Adaptable and flexible in their approach to working and able to cope under pressure
- Proven experience of providing administrative support to senior members of staff
