Systems and CAFM Development Manager
Job summary
We have an opportunity available within the Building, Engineering and Maintenance (BEM) team for a Systems and CAFM Development Manager to provide expert management and leadership skills and have a wide range of responsibilities to ensure effective development, management and operation of the services within Estates and Facilities.
You would be responsible for data quality, developing and ensuring compliance of the policies, procedures and accountability arrangements pertaining to data and information exchange throughout the BEM department.
You would also project manage the works relating to BEM data, information collection and development of process and procedures and develop and maintain a document management structure within the BEM department.
Main duties of the job
You will be a senior member of the BEM team and will provide expert management and leadership skills and have a wide range of responsibilities to ensure effective development, management and operation of the services within Estates and Facilities including;
- BEM asset management
- SFG 20 maintenance and specification data
- Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) data
- Annual data collection pertaining to the completion of the Premises Assurance Model (PAM)
- Creation of board and compliance reports
Responsible for data quality, developing and ensuring compliance of the policies, procedures and accountability arrangements pertaining to data and information exchange throughout the BEM department.
Project managing the works relating to BEM data, information collection and development of process and procedures.
Developing and maintaining a document management structure within the BEM department.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- BSc in an IM&T or technical discipline
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner project management qualification
- Postgraduate qualification or master's degree in a related discipline
- Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Asset Management
Experience
- Significant experience of working within technical or estates management teams, on data and information related management
- Proven experience managing large teams
- Experience of managing process driven operations within an organisation
- Experience of project planning and implementation
- Experience of working with complex processes and creating process maps and drafting policies and processes
- Change management experience
- Experience of working with estates information systems (e.g. CAFM software)
- NHS estates and hospital maintenance management experience
- Evidence of working within an Asset Management environment
- Facial recognition time recording systems experience (e.g. Allocate)
Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of IT software and systems
- Estates Assets Management
- Estates condition appraisal management
- SFG 20 maintenance and specification data
