About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive innovation and excellence in technology management. As the Head of SAP Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our SAP systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our organisation. We are currently implementing critical business changes into our ECC v6 system and are planning for future upgrades.

What You'll Do:

• Strategic Leadership: Take charge of our internal technology solutions for SAP, setting a clear strategic roadmap and leading the transformation agenda.
• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of critical projects. Manage key third-party vendors ensuring successful project execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior including Executive Board and Global Leadership Team levels. Instil confidence in SAP's delivery for the business, both on a day-to-day basis and in the delivery of changes.
• Operational Improvements: Collaborate closely with the CTO on operational improvements in central technology teams. Contribute to the central technology management team, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• People Management: Lead and inspire the managers of several technical teams, including global and offshore staff. Develop and maintain an appropriate skills base across the applications teams, ensuring optimal resource utilisation.
• Technology Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of application solutions, from initiation to planning, delivery, and transition to live service. Oversee live service operations for SAP solutions, develop solution roadmaps, and manage budget items specific to the team.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to internal compliance rules and controls, including ABC, Internal & External Audit, and IT governance. Maintain the highest standards of compliance and governance in all aspects of your work

You are a dynamic and visionary leader with a strong technical background in SAP and extensive experience in senior technology management roles. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of managing complex projects and leading diverse teams. Your ability to balance a heavy workload and conflicting priorities, coupled with your strong analytical skills and business acumen, sets you apart.

You excel in stakeholder engagement, building constructive relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation. Your thought leadership on SAP direction and your ability to communicate and present to senior-level executives make you a trusted advisor. You are passionate about continuous improvement and have experience working with offshore staff and businesses.

Your expertise in managing significant budgets, overseeing third-party vendors, and ensuring compliance with internal rules and controls is essential. You are committed to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and driving operational improvements.
