Finance Transformation Lead - Netsuite Implementation

Finance Transformation Lead

About the role

We are currently working with a European software asset, backed by a leading private equity investor, who is undertaking a company-wide transformation programme to re-engineer and standardise core operational processes across Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). This programme spans Portugal, India and the UAE and includes the implementation of a new single ERP (NetSuite + add-ons) and a new CRM (HubSpot).

We are looking for a highly hands-on Transformation Lead to drive the day-to-day execution and implementation for the ERP & CRM. This is not a governance or oversight role. The key need is for someone who can actively coordinate, support and contribute to the operational work required to make the transformation successful.

In a growing organisation where teams are often capacity-constrained, this role will play a critical part in ensuring data is prepared, systems are validated, documentation is maintained and milestones are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day programme activities across Finance, Sales, Customer Success and external implementation partners
  • Track deliverables, timelines and dependencies across workstreams
  • Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers and status reporting
  • Prepare, cleanse and validate master data for ERP and CRM migration
  • Perform data mapping, reconciliation and validation work (including extensive Excel-based analysis)
  • Support system configuration validation and user acceptance testing
  • Assist functional teams with data extraction, formatting and upload preparation
  • Organise and facilitate workshops, working sessions and status meetings
  • Follow up on open items and ensure accountability across stakeholders
  • Provide hands-on support to teams who may lack time or capacity to complete programme-related tasks
  • Ensure process documentation is updated, harmonised and aligned with the new system design
  • Act as a bridge between operational teams and system implementation partners

Skills and Experience

  • 4–8 years’ experience in operations, finance transformation, PMO, systems implementation or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data linking, reconciliation and validation
  • Experience supporting ERP and/or CRM implementations is highly desirable
  • Understanding of Finance and commercial processes (Q2C, R2R, P2P)
  • Experience working in small to mid-sized organisations preferred
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and across multiple geographies
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong data accuracy mindset
  • Proactive, resilient and practical in approach

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a “doer” rather than a purely managerial profile. The successful candidate will be comfortable combining structured project coordination with hands-on execution work. They will be equally comfortable organising meetings and spending hours validating data in Excel.

This role requires someone who can build structure where it is missing, support colleagues who are time-constrained, and ensure that important but operationally heavy tasks do not become bottlenecks.
