Financial Director

Finance Director (9–12 Month FTC)

We are partnering with a fast-growth business as they look to appoint a Finance Director (FTC) to their leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage, helping to scale operations, infrastructure, and strategy across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CEO, leadership team, and board to shape the strategic financial direction of the business
• Own financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with growth objectives
• Support fundraising activities and manage investor relations, including preparation of board materials and reporting
• Oversee financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, including accounting, payroll, and cash management
• Implement and refine financial controls, systems, and scalable processes to support rapid growth
• Manage compliance, legal structuring, and relationships with external advisors (audit, tax, legal)
• Lead and develop the finance function while acting as an interim People lead during a key transition period

What are we looking for?

• A high-calibre finance leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in high-growth technology or start-up environments, ideally post-Series A
• Strong understanding of venture capital funding dynamics and investor expectations
• Commercially astute with experience in financial modelling, risk management, and business partnering
• Confident working with senior stakeholders, including CEOs and boards
• Adaptable, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, scaling environments
