  • Developing and enhancing web-based versions of existing software products
  • Building secure integrations for data submission to HMRC and other external services
  • Maintaining and improving backend systems to meet legislative and government standards
  • Writing clean, well-documented code that is easy to maintain and scale
  • Testing, debugging and refining applications to ensure reliability and usability
  • Ensuring applications meet current web, security and accessibility standards
What you’ll bring to the table as a Software Developer
  • Previous experience using C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core in a commercial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and MVC architecture
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git and GitHub
  • Exposure to APIs, including payment or third-party integrations
  • Understanding of deploying applications across Windows or Linux environments
