Installation Engineer - Audio-Visual

This role is about delivering high-quality AV installations that actually get used, relied on, and noticed. As an Audio-Visual Installation Engineer, you’ll be trusted to install modern systems on live sites, working with current technology and contributing directly to the successful delivery of complex projects. Work is based in Bristol and you will be hands-on from start to finish, playing a key role in ensuring installations are completed to a high technical standard and handed over ready for use. What’s in it for you

What you’ll be getting stuck into as an Audio-Visual Installation Engineer

• Installing audio-visual hardware across a range of client environments
• Terminating audio, video and CAT5 / CAT6 cabling
• Completing AV first and second fix work including crimp and solder termination
• Carrying out rack integration from design schematics
• Completing first fix wall and ceiling structures using appropriate fixings
• Supporting project delivery to ensure systems are installed and ready for commissioning

What you’ll bring to the table as an Audio-Visual Installation Engineer

• Previous experience installing audio-visual systems
• Experience working from technical drawings or schematics
• Knowledge of Extron, Crestron or AMX control systems
• Experience with structured cabling and rack builds
• A full UK driving licence
