Senior Networking Infrastructure Consultant – Remote

Salary: £70-90k

#TeamCandour are working with one of the UK’s leading manage service providers, searching for an experienced senior infrastructure consultant.

As this role is a client facing role, there may be occasional on-site days to meet with clients.

This role requires the ability to get SC clearance, requiring applicants to have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

KEY SKILLS

• A suitable applicant for this role will have an in-depth understanding of a consultancy setting and infrastructure projects, alongside experience in security, enterprise networking and cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Solid hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level solutions across networking.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and wireless technologies, with across multiple vendor platforms.
• Relevant industry certifications (CCNP/CCIE).
• Consultancy experience with excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong capability in designing, documenting, and implementing complex network architectures.
• The ability to manage multiple client or project engagements independently.
• Willingness to travel for occasional client engagements when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement secure, enterprise-grade network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, security).
• Configure and support routing, switching, and firewall technologies across diverse platforms.
• Build resilient networks with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Deliver and maintain virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Stack) and virtual networking.
• Lead large-scale projects, including migrations, upgrades, and transformations.
