Job Description
This organisation is seeking a proactive, technically strong IT professional with a strong focus on ERP systems and project delivery to support and enhance its core business platforms.
You will take ownership of the company’s ERP environment, acting as the primary technical and functional lead. Alongside ERP responsibilities, you will support the wider application landscape, including Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
A key part of this role is leading and managing ERP-related projects, upgrades, system improvements, and business change initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure systems are aligned with operational goals and deliver measurable business value.
This position suits an articulate, self-driven professional who can translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and confidently manage projects from planning through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the organisation’s Epicor ERP platform, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert for ERP systems, supporting users and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead ERP-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process optimisation initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery.
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance ERP and application functionality to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Provide advanced support for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise applications.
- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents.
- Manage relationships with ERP vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven hands-on experience supporting Epicor ERP in a business-critical environment.
- Strong experience delivering IT related projects.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience with Azure, Intune, Power BI, and wider Microsoft services.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- Experience with virtualisation, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
