We’re working with a growing organisation based in Doncaster that’s looking to add a talented Front End Developer to its development team. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in the office, offering flexibility alongside meaningful in-person collaboration.

The Role

As a Front End Developer, you’ll play a key part in developing and enhancing customer-facing platforms and internal systems. You’ll work closely with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver clean, scalable, and engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, high-quality front-end solutions
  • Convert UI/UX designs into well-structured, reusable code
  • Work with modern JavaScript frameworks to build intuitive interfaces
  • Integrate with APIs and back-end services
  • Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
  • Experience using Git and working in collaborative environments
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code

Desirable Experience

  • TypeScript
  • Modern CSS frameworks or preprocessors (Sass, Tailwind, etc.)
  • Testing frameworks and performance optimisation
  • Agile / Scrum methodologies
