This company is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Technician to join its expanding team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining client IT systems, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, and efficient. The role offers a varied workload, including troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining infrastructure, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the IT Technician will have opportunities to develop technical expertise through ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues across client sites.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, patch management, and antivirus administration.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Deliver basic user guidance and training to support the effective use of IT systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, repairs, and support activities.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT support or IT Technician position.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent) are desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo enhanced background screening where required for client environments.
