Lead Dotnet Developer
Lead/Principal .NET Developer - Manchester (City Centre) – 3 days per week in office - £85,000
We’re partnering with an established, high-growth technology company based in central Manchester to hire an experienced Principal .NET Developer. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role focused on building and evolving a large-scale platform within a collaborative, modern tech environment.
This position would suit you if you are a highly experienced .NET developer who enjoys owning complex features end-to-end, contributing to architectural decisions, and working closely with cross-functional teams. While this is a senior role, it remains strongly hands-on.
I want to speak with you, if you have:
- Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#, ideally including ASP.NET
- Experience working with front-end technologies (ideally React, but other modern frameworks considered)
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (experience with AWS and/or Azure)
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working on production systems at scale
- Interest in, or exposure to, AI/LLM technologies and how they can be integrated into real-world applications
- Confidence contributing to technical discussions and collaborating across teams
The Role:
- Design, build, and deliver robust software solutions using .NET and modern front-end technologies
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction
- Develop features from concept through to production deployment
- Work within a cloud-hosted environment (AWS and/or Azure)
- Support the exploration and integration of AI-driven capabilities within the platform
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Delivery teams
