Job Purpose and Summary We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in product development or sales engineering, particularly with expertise in software. Proficiency in C is essential, while experience with C++ and Python is highly desirable. Familiarity with optical, mechanical, or electrical technologies is also advantageous. This role involves leveraging technical skills to lead pre-sales activities, provide technical support, and develop tailored solutions that drive ITCG’s sales performance. Summarise customers’ requirements and give feedback to Canon HQ.New product development: Contribute to new product development initiatives led by Canon Europe, involving both internal hardware and software development, as well as collaboration with external partners.Integration activities with 3rd party: Proceed integration with 3rd party products to meet the customer’s demands and expand the product ecosystem.Exhibition support: Provide technical support for exhibitions, including planning exhibition content, designing technical configurations, and assisting on-site sales activities.Based at Stockley Park, with up to 20% travel—typically one to two national or international trips per month.
