Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join our client based in Egham.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Administrator to support the effective operation of each core business units: Commercial, IT & Operations, Finance and HR. This is a vital cross-functional role requiring a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities efficiently.
The successful candidate will also take ownership of the office environment-ensuring it remains a professional, safe, and welcoming space. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar administrative or operational support role.
The successful Business Administrator will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support across all departments, maintaining consistent standards and alignment with ISO9001 (Quality) and ISO27001 (Information Security).
- Maintain and manage internal documentation, including templates, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Coordinate and control all document filing systems, both electronic and hard copy, with particular responsibility for SharePoint, PandaDoc, Adobe and MS Dynamics platforms.
- Support internal reporting, including the preparation of agendas, minutes and monthly management packs.
- Assist in the development, review and enhancement of internal process documentation for consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the day-to-day office environment is maintained to a high standard, including supplies, safety and general upkeep.
- Serve as the point of contact for office-related needs and liaise with relevant suppliers and service providers where necessary.
- Take on responsibilities as Fire Marshal and First Aider (training provided).
- Assist with the drafting and proofing of client-facing documents such as proposals, reports, and marketing materials.
- Maintain and manage the Management Action Log.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in documents produced by the Commercial team.
The Business Administrator will have:
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint); experience with Pipedrive, PandaDoc and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Flexible, adaptable and confident when managing multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to take initiative, show discretion and handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Collaborative with a positive, professional attitude and a commitment to learning.
