YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in setting up data modelling functions, including establishing standards and governance, and creating conceptual, logical, and physical models. This role requires expertise in enterprise data modelling tools, such as ERWIN and ERSTUDIO, and experience in adopting reference data models within banks, including FSDM and BIAN.

YOUR PROFILE

• Set up and manage a comprehensive data modelling function, encompassing standards, governance, and best practices.
• Lead a team to produce domain data models, such as party, product, and transaction.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize enterprise data modelling tools such as ERWIN and ERSTUDIO to create and manage models.
• Adopt and integrate reference data models within banking environments, such as FSDM and BIAN.
• Lead data modelling initiatives and interact with senior stakeholders to align data strategies with business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modellers and other team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience operating at a senior level in data modelling and data management.
• Proven experience in setting up and managing data modelling functions, including standards and governance.
• Extensive experience with enterprise data modelling tools, such as ERWIN and ERSTUDIO.
• Strong understanding of reference data models within banking, such as FSDM and BIAN.
• Experience with data modelling techniques such as 3NF and Dimensional modelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members effectively.
