We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst. The role will act as the Business Analyst to represent the team across the wider lab and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture and Operations.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively with Architects and Engineers to understand:
- Architecture Views (AVs)
- System interactions and dependencies
- Data models, data flows and key data elements
- Be comfortable discussing technical constraints and trade‐offs without acting as a solution designer.
- Act as the primary BA representative for a feature team
- alignment to lab priorities, standards and ways of working.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects and SMEs to ensure initiatives are clearly understood, well‐scoped and delivery‐ready.
- Represent analysis outputs confidently in lab‐level forums, refinement sessions and governance checkpoints.
- Take initiatives from early concept / idea stage through to fully elaborated epics, features and stories.
- Create clear problem statements, scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies and success measures.
- Prevent premature solution design by maintaining a solution‐agnostic, outcome‐focused approach.
- Be relentlessly customer‐obsessed, with a strong understanding of customer harm, fairness and fraud prevention outcomes.
- Ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly linked to measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Confidently engage and challenge senior business and product stakeholders (VP level).
- Facilitate constructive challenge, ensuring scope, benefits and priorities are evidence‐based.
- Be tenacious in driving clarity, decisions and formal sign‐off, even in complex or ambiguous environments.
Desirable Skills
- Prior experience in fraud, financial crime, risk or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of data models, data flows and integration concepts.
- Experience working in Agile labs or product‐centric operating models.
- Practical experience using AI tools to support Business Analysis activities.
- Familiarity with large‐scale enterprise change environments.
