Digital Analyst - Ecommerce

Location: Somerset - would consider more remote based candidates who would consider going to the office a couple of times per month

Excellent opportunity working for one of the UK’s fastest growing retail and e-commerce business’s. Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Analytics & Insight Manager, you’ll be a key player in helping us to understand what makes our web channels work

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data from multiple sources to understand daily, weekly, monthly digital performance and trending
• Use insight to prepare recommendations for stakeholder consideration to drive further customer engagement and online performance
• Take ownership of the ongoing development of the reporting framework, continually streamlining and improving based on business need and stakeholder requirements
• Perform ad-hoc pieces of analysis, from category deep dives to campaign performance, providing clear narrative, trending and recommendations from the insight to inform stakeholder decision making
• Become the power user of web analytics tools in the ecommerce team including Google Analytics, SimilarWeb and ContentSquare – drive awareness and capability of the tools to the wider team

Key Skills & Experience required:

• You’ll be highly numerate and analytical, used to working with numbers on a daily basis, confident and comfortable working with large amounts of complex data.
• Experience in ideally both Google Analytics & ContentSquare
• You’ll have great attention to detail in order to spot anomalies in the data as well as flag early trends that are forming
• You’ll have strong Excel skills, particularly the ability to manipulate and format information clearly in Excel (create formulas, format charts and tables, pivot tables).
• A real curiosity to explore data further and be proactive in gathering insights
