Programme Manager

We're seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex OT and IT programmes for major Energy Networks clients, including National Grid, ScottishPower Energy Networks and SSE Networks.
The Role
As Programme Manager, you'll provide leadership across multiple projects and programmes, taking responsibility for delivery, client engagement, commercial performance and operational excellence throughout the full project lifecycle.
You'll work closely with clients, internal teams and delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of major Energy Networks programmes from concept and mobilisation through to commissioning and handover.
- Act as the senior client interface, building strong relationships and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Oversee programme governance, reporting, resource planning and delivery performance.
- Manage programme finances, forecasting, profitability and commercial outcomes.
- Drive effective risk management, change control and NEC contract administration.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead, coach and develop Project Managers and wider delivery teams, creating a high-performance environment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the growth of Capula's Energy Networks portfolio.
About You
We're looking for a proven programme leader with experience delivering complex projects within Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Nuclear, Defence or other highly regulated environments.
You'll bring:
- Extensive experience managing large-scale programmes and portfolios.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
- A track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, commercial and communication skills.
- Professional qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent are desirable.
