Marketing Automation Manager - SaaS

Overview: Brand new role with a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS company delivering market-leading solutions. Backed by over two decades of data software expertise, the business empowers global brands to navigate the complex world of data privacy while unlocking the power of data insights.

With new leadership, ambitious growth plans, and exciting innovations on the horizon, the company is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join their energetic, collaborative team and help drive the next phase of success.

The Role: This is a hands-on, full-mix marketing role where you’ll collaborate across the business, working alongside other bright, energetic marketers, each focused on their sectors.

You’ll have the opportunity to experiment across verticals, lead end-to-end campaigns, work with agencies and vendors, and make a measurable impact on the company’s growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective strategies and tactical marketing plans that drive leads and elevate brand reputation
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns from concept through to delivery, working across content, paid media, social, email, events, and PR
  • Innovate with Martech and AI – unlock the full potential of tools like CRM, ABM, and AI to deliver intelligent, personalised campaigns at scale
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to deliver campaigns that engage target audiences
  • Leverage tools such as CRM, CMS, and analytics platforms to manage, track, and optimise marketing activity (experience with Zoho is a plus)
  • Create engaging content across formats (website, blogs, downloadable assets, social media, video) to attract and convert leads
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality execution
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, extracting insights to refine future approaches and demonstrate ROI
  • Maintain a strong understanding of paid strategies, SEO, PPC, and channel targeting to ensure campaigns are effective and agencies deliver

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in SaaS, tech, or agency environments
  • Strategic yet hands-on, with a proven ability to run integrated, multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable results
  • Comfortable working at pace and juggling multiple projects across different sectors or verticals
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, paid media, digital marketing, and analytics
  • Excellent content instincts — bonus if you can produce or design yourself, but not essential
  • Commercially savvy with a sharp eye for campaign performance, budget management, and vendor oversight
  • Creative, energetic, and curious, with a passion for marketing innovation (e.g., AI, video, new tech)
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and trends, with a curiosity to test and adopt emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset — someone who builds positive working relationships across teams

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (stretching to £50,000 for senior candidates)

Location: Warrington – Hybrid working (3 days per week in office)

Benefits:

  • Private healthcare, dental and optical coverage plus cashback options
  • Pension scheme
  • Employee discount portal
  • Flexible benefit fund (e.g. towards family medical cover)
  • On-site subsidised canteen
  • On-site free parking
  • 24 days’ holiday
  • Training and development opportunities
