Overview

An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, performance led digital agency working with global brands in the Events, Music and Festival space.

This is a newly created role designed to support the next stage of growth. The business is looking for someone genuinely obsessed with AI, automation and systems, who is constantly testing new tools and thinking about how work can be done smarter and faster.

You will work closely with senior leadership to improve how the agency operates, starting with Paid Media but expanding across Creative, Strategy, Sales and Operations. The focus is on reducing manual work, improving data visibility and building scalable processes that allow the business to grow without unnecessary complexity.

This role will suit someone who enjoys building, experimenting and implementing, rather than simply managing existing processes.

The Role

The agency is looking for a hands on AI Operations Manager to audit current workflows, identify opportunities and introduce AI driven solutions that improve speed, accuracy and output across the business.

You will be responsible for testing, implementing and embedding smarter ways of working, with a strong focus on measurable efficiency and real impact.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation

• Continuously explore emerging AI and automation tools

• Test and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency

• Build automation across reporting, internal processes and selected client workflows

• Run structured pilots, measure outcomes and scale what works

• Maintain a clear backlog of experiments and ideas

Systems & Workflow Optimisation

• Audit existing workflows across Paid Media, Creative, Strategy, Sales and Operations

• Map the current technology stack and identify inefficiencies or duplication

• Implement improvements aligned with leadership priorities

• Support standardisation of core tools and processes

Cross Functional Integration

• Work closely with department leads to improve handovers, collaboration and data flow

• Ensure CRM, reporting, finance and delivery systems are connected

• Support teams in refining and scaling their own efficiency initiatives

Documentation & Adoption

• Document processes in a clear and simple way

• Create internal training and guidance

• Ensure new systems are embedded and adopted

Commercial Impact

• Track time saved and operational capacity created

• Demonstrate the impact of improved systems on delivery and margin

• Provide leadership with visibility on progress and outcomes

Experience & Skills

• Experience within a marketing agency or performance led digital business

• Strong understanding of how agencies operate

• Hands on experience with workflow systems, CRM optimisation or automation

• Comfortable working with tools such as HubSpot, N8N, Claude or similar

• Passion for AI and curiosity about new technologies

• Working knowledge of scripting or coding is beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable working in a founder led, fast paced environment

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £55,000 to £75,000

Location: Manchester or London

Hybrid working (2 to 3 days per week in office)
