IT Technical Support

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for an IT Technical Support engineer within the IT department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This IT Technical Support position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will be the main IT technical person responsible for supporting all IT systems across the business.

Role Responsibilities will include:

• 1st line technical support for home users as and when required.
• 2nd line technical support for all on site users, including management of the Servers and Routers.
• Responsible in supporting the team in raising IT tickets inclusive of self-management of own tickets.
• Liaising between multiple departments and group IT.
• Conduct regular testing for any IT changes alongside regular testing.
• Patch management cycles for the entire IT set up.

Skills and Experience required:

• Technical qualifications and use of Microsoft, HP and Cisco are desirable.
• Experience in supporting end - user for IT desk support for over 3 years.
• Work on own initiative and liaise with staff on all levels and communicate at a simple level.
• Ability to fluently communicate in written and spoken English.
• Our of hours support may be required, so flexibility is crucial.

Day shifts with on call hours when required so flexibility of working hours is crucial.
