Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and proving activities for assemblies and components
- Resolve manufacturing issues and support testing and trials
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on technical queries
- Participate in design reviews and project planning
Essential Skills
- Proficient in Creo 3D CAD
- Strong knowledge of:
- Manufacturing processes & tolerance studies
- Structural design & material selection
- FMEA, DfM/A, and environmental sealing
- Defence standards & product lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Background
- Defence or aerospace industry experience preferred
- Automotive or similar sectors considered with relevant skillset
