Role Description

The Digital Mental Health Operations Manager is a versatile role responsible for leading Information Governance (IG) activities, coordinating implementation across live sites and supporting the overall operational management of the company. The role also contributes to a range of hands-on business deliverables, helps define product requirements, supports user research activities and ensures that CareLoop products meet relevant clinical, technical, and regulatory standards.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

• Experience in operational management of a digital healthcare company

• Knowledge of Information Governance (IG) and data protection standards related to health technologies

• Experience working with technologies designed for use in the NHS

• Experience supporting product and technical teams (e.g. writing product requirements, assisting in user research, supporting technical documentation)

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders including people with lived experience of mental illness, NHS system leaders, clinicians and technical teams.

• Ability to work in a multi-functional role.

Desirable:

· Experience in digital mental health or healthcare technology

• Experience of working within ISO13485 Quality Management Systems

• Experience of NHS DSP Toolkit, Cyber Essentials and DTAC

• Knowledge of research methodologies and evidence-based digital health interventions

Responsibilities

• Lead internal IG activities and act as the liaison with external partners on IG matters

• Support the product and technical teams in defining product requirements and conducting user research activities

• Coordinate and support research and project initiatives as required

• Track project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes

• Assist cross-functional teams with documentation, reporting, and process improvement

Key Authorities

• Authority to prioritise operational tasks related to product delivery, governance, and compliance within agreed frameworks, and to escalate risks, blockers, or compliance issues to senior leadership where necessary.

• Decision-making authority for operational execution within defined project scopes.

• Authority to escalate issues or risks to Chief Operating Officer.
