EMEA Event Manager

We are recruiting an experienced EMEA Event Manager to join a leading global technology company, supporting the delivery of high-impact live and digital events across the region.

Working as part of the EMEA Events Team, you will manage a varied portfolio of programmes for employees, customers, prospective customers, alliance partners, press and analysts. Events will include conferences, partner summits, executive meetings and customer experiences, as well as large-scale pan-EMEA programmes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead or support assigned events from initial planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation.
  • Develop detailed project plans and ensure timelines, budgets and programme objectives are met.
  • Manage event logistics, including venues, contracts, registration, catering, staffing, technical production and branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate speakers, sponsors, creative services, event websites and attendee communications.
  • Manage external agencies, venues, suppliers and production partners.
  • Track event performance and return on investment, using attendee and stakeholder feedback to assess success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing activity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Support the planning and delivery of major pan-EMEA event programmes.
  • Ensure every event delivers an excellent attendee experience and positively represents the company’s brand.

Experience required

  • At least five years’ experience in event project management, conference production or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex corporate or B2B events in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing deadlines.
  • Experience developing and managing event budgets.
  • Confidence managing agencies, suppliers, venues and other external partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, customer service and communication skills.
  • A proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel across EMEA, with requirements varying according to the event schedule.
  • Fluency in French or German would be advantageous.
