What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind a seamless, high‐impact onboarding journey, ensuring every new colleague feels informed, supported, and inspired from day one.
You’ll:
- Lead a best‐in‐class onboarding experience from offer stage through to a new hire’s first months.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics across several international hubs, navigating local compliance requirements and right‐to‐work processes.
- Manage pre‐employment checks, relocation support, and sensitive data with precision, care, and confidentiality.
- Ensure data accuracy across HR systems, acting as the quality gatekeeper during handover from recruitment to people operations.
- Oversee everything from equipment set‐up to immersive welcome sessions that bring the organisation’s culture and mission to life.
- Upskill Talent Coordinators and embed consistent, agile coordination across the wider TA team.
- Track and report onboarding metrics, identifying ways to enhance experience, speed to impact, and operational quality.
- Build trusted relationships with Talent Partners, People Partners, hiring managers, and other internal teams.
- Share insight‐led feedback with TA, helping to continuously elevate the candidate and employee journey.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a brilliant fit if you bring:
- Experience in onboarding, people operations, HR coordination, or similar roles within fast‐paced tech, science, or scaling environments.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy, GDPR, and handling sensitive documentation.
- Experience with global mobility, immigration, or right‐to‐work compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage high‐volume workflows without missing a detail.
- A process‐driven mindset with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity.
- Confidence working with onboarding metrics and improving processes through data.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- High discretion, sound judgement, and a proactive, hands‐on approach.
- Comfort with change and a natural enthusiasm for improving systems and experiences.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms
- Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance workflows or automate admin
