IT Support Engineer

Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking to step into a more autonomous, client-facing role with real variety and responsibility?

A growing North East-based MSP is looking for a talented engineer to join its close-knit technical team. You’ll work across multiple client environments, managing infrastructure, supporting users onsite and remotely, and playing a key role in project delivery — all while developing your skills in a highly collaborative and supportive setting.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience (MSP or multi-client environments preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows desktop/server, and general infrastructure
  • Confidence troubleshooting networking issues (WiFi, firewalls, VLANs, switching)
  • Clear communication and the ability to build great relationships with end users and stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to keep learning

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing both onsite and remote support to a diverse range of clients
  • Managing infrastructure, hardware, cloud services, and systems (incl. CCTV, AV, telephony)
  • Delivering project work, installations, and technical upgrades
  • Escalating issues, mentoring junior staff, and owning client relationships
