Geospatial Developer/Esri GIS, Azure

Geospatial Developer/Esri GIS, Azure/is required to design and develop GIS solutions across a large scale geospatial data programme.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the design, development, and configuration of the Esri GIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Portal.
• Documenting data models, APIs, integrations, and Interface Control Documents.
• Ensuring Esri platform features operate as intended.
• Providing technical leadership for migrating applications from Geocortex to VertiGIS Studio.
• Integrating geospatial solutions with the Azure-based data platform.
• Supporting test strategy development and execution for platform and application migration.
• Acting as the technical authority for geospatial solutions development, providing guidance and assurance to the team.

Required experience and skills:

• Extensive experience designing and developing scalable geospatial solutions.
• Strong experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive expertise with Esri GIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of geospatial data models, APIs, and systems integrations.
• Experience with VertiGIS Studio, FME Server, or similar geospatial tools will be an advantage.
• Geospatial application migrations experience will be beneficial.
• Functional and non-functional testing experience will be advantageous.
