Sales Consultant
About the Role
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will represent a leading digital marketplace and act as a trusted partner to automotive dealers. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle—from identifying and reaching out to independent and small-to-medium car dealerships across the UK to closing deals and supporting successful onboarding.
You will take a consultative approach to understand each dealer’s business needs and demonstrate how digital advertising solutions can help increase vehicle sales and improve return on investment. You will also share valuable market insights and customer feedback to support product development and help refine the overall sales strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a track record of identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the automotive sector
- Strong understanding of the UK automotive industry, including dealership operations, challenges, and commercial goals
- A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Experience using CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and the ability to interpret performance data to identify customer needs
- Experience selling digital advertising, SaaS, or online marketplace solutions is an advantage
