Service Design and Transition Manager/ITIL v4

Service Design and Transition Manager is required to support the full life cycle of service introduction, from planning and design through to knowledge transfer, validation, and early life support.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining service transition plans.
  • Leading Knowledge Management activities, including creating knowledge transition plans, scheduling and delivering knowledge transfer workshops, and ensuring complete and accurate transfer from development teams.
  • Defining service requirements.
  • Developing a robust service support model with active stakeholder engagement.
  • Designing, constructing, and facilitating Service Process Testing, ensuring all service processes are validated through structured rehearsal and testing approaches.
  • Defining Early Life Support plans and criteria, and managing ELS dashboards.
  • Managing service progress reporting, overseeing meeting and workshop actions, and delivering service rehearsals.
  • Supporting the development of service agreements.
  • Supporting project documentation and governance activities.

Required Experience

  • Proven background in Service Design and Transition within complex, structured environments.
  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • Demonstrated experience running service and knowledge transition workshops.
  • Ability to define service requirements and build effective service support models.
  • Hands-on experience with knowledge transition planning and Early Life Support delivery.
  • Skilled in service validation, testing, and rehearsal activities.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and action-tracking skills.
  • Experience in supporting procurement, supplier management, and service agreement development.
