Business Analyst (Charles River)
6 mth engagement (plus likely extension to 12 months +).

A leading institutional investment organisation is seeking a Business Analyst to support Front Office change initiatives within its investment platform. You will bring experience as a Business Analyst within an investment management or asset management environment, with strong exposure to Front Office systems. Be able to demonstrate hands-on involvement in Charles River (CRIMS) implementation or enhancement projects.
The Opportunity
- A leading institutional investment organisation is seeking a Business Analyst to support Front Office change initiatives within its investment platform
- Working closely with portfolio managers, traders, operations and technology teams, you will play a key role in delivering enhancements to the firm's Order Management System, with a particular focus on Charles River implementation and optimisation
- The role will involve gathering requirements, analysing Front Office workflows, supporting system configuration, and assisting with testing and delivery of investment system improvements
Your Experience
- You will bring experience as a Business Analyst within an investment management or asset management environment, with strong exposure to Front Office systems
- Be able to demonstrate hands-on involvement in Charles River (CRIMS) implementation or enhancement projects
- Strong understanding of the investment trade lifecycle and Front Office workflows
- Experience working with traders, portfolio managers and investment operations teams
- Knowledge of investment instruments including equities, fixed income, funds and derivatives
- Strong analytical capability, with proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Experience with other OMS platforms such as Aladdin or thinkFolio would be beneficial
