Head of Labs, Data Science, AI, LLMs, SLMs, Agentic AI, Innovation, Data, Remote with TravelHead of Labs, AI & Data Leader required to work for a fast moving and growing organisation based all over the country! This role is mainly remote but there will be some travel involved, mainly to their London offices. For people who live outside of Greater London, your travel cost will be reimbursed. You can literally live anywhere in the UK for this role.This role is greatand probably different to most that you are seeing out there right now. Please read on (IN FULL) for more detailsWe need someone who has the following experience:Appreciation (and preferably experience with) that this is a heavily regulated environment and everything is in line with strict Governance frameworksBig understanding and connection with Data Science and AI in the modern worldHas failed, will fail again but also knows how to navigate around failures, lift spirits and turn this into successful deliveryA strong leader for the team you will inheritand continue to buildStrong and proven senior stakeholder management skills, with the proven battle scarsSolid 3 rd party management experience with the likes of large development and data teamsExcellent understanding of Development frameworks you may even be a Computer Science graduate or have a degree in Data ScienceAbility to run research programmes with blue-sky thinkingComfortable with change at uber-speedBacklog management:Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and prioritizing product backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and collaborating with development teams to deliver sprint goalsUnderstanding of Agile product ownership: Experience in SAFe or similar agile frameworks, including daily scrum leadership and sprint planningCross-team collaboration:Effective working across engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure seamless executionKPI management: Ability to track, analyse, and interpret KPIs to guide product improvements and communicate results to stakeholdersTechnical acumen: Solid understanding of modern data platforms, including experience with medallion architecture, AI/ML applications, and cloud-native infrastructuresCommunication skills:Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to various audiences, including engineers, business partners, and senior leadershipKnows how to read a room and NOT be a disrupter.
