You'll play a key role in the administration of parking and CCTV operations, dealing with customer enquiries, payments, permits and Penalty Charge Notices, while supporting projects and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support across Parking Services and CCTV, responding professionally to enquiries from customers, Members and stakeholders.
  • Process payments, permits, season tickets and Penalty Charge Notice records, including investigating formal representations and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Monitor CCTV and Civil Enforcement Officer rotas, liaise with contractors regarding repairs and identify and report operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records across specialist IT systems, produce management information and reports, and support filing and correspondence processes.
  • Assist with projects, special events, town centre bollard operations and liaison with organisations including the DVLA, Traffic Enforcement Centre, Traffic Penalty Tribunal and Enforcement Agents.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to deal professionally with enquiries by telephone, email, correspondence and in person.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to accurately use and maintain information across multiple systems and databases.
  • An understanding of parking legislation, Traffic Regulation Orders and the Traffic Management Act 2004, or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge.
  • A flexible, proactive approach with a commitment to high-quality service, confidentiality, health and safety, equality and continuous personal development.
