Carrot Life Sciences is proud to be supporting the UK subsidiary of an innovative global pharmaceutical company in their search for an Executive Office (PMO) & HR Officer. This is a varied and highly collaborative opportunity, supporting HR operations, employee engagement, internal communications, office management and cross-functional project delivery.

The role will act as a key coordinator across the organisation, providing proactive support to employees and the Senior Leadership Team while taking ownership of a range of operational projects and business systems.

Everything you need to know about this role

You will provide support across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and HR administration through to employee engagement and internal communications.

Alongside the HR element of the role, you'll coordinate office operations, support the Senior Leadership Team and lead cross-functional projects that sit across the organisation.

You'll be involved in:

  • Supporting HR administration, onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits
  • Coordinating employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing and culture initiatives
  • Leading internal communications, company events and leadership meetings
  • Providing proactive administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Leading cross-functional projects, including process improvement and business systems initiatives
  • Acting as business owner for key systems
  • Coordinating office operations, suppliers, facilities, expenses and travel
  • Supporting day-to-day IT coordination, including equipment, access and external IT providers
  • Maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • Experience in HR administration, operations, office management, project management or a similar role is essential – ideally with relevant certification
  • Strong organisational, planning and project management skills, HR
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience administering business systems and applications
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, proactive and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively and exercise confidentiality and discretion
