Senior Research Analyst

Summary

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, specialist insights business operating at the forefront of the global healthcare technology market. Known for delivering exceptionally robust, data-led intelligence and strategic advisory, this organisation works with some of the most influential names across healthcare, technology, and investment.

What truly sets them apart is the impact of their work — combining deep domain expertise with commercially relevant insight that directly shapes business decisions at senior level. With strong, sustained growth and a clear evolution towards more innovative and continuous research models, they offer a genuinely exciting environment where your contribution will be visible and valued.

They are now looking for a Senior Research Analyst — someone analytical, inquisitive, and ready to take ownership of complex research programmes while continuing to develop their expertise.

Everything you need to know about the role

This is a hands-on, end-to-end research role where you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality insights across global healthcare technology markets. You’ll work across both syndicated and bespoke studies, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects and stakeholders.

• Take ownership of research projects from design through to delivery, ensuring outputs are insightful, accurate, and commercially relevant

• Lead and support a mix of primary and secondary research, including market sizing, vendor analysis, surveys, and in-depth interviews

• Analyse complex datasets (quantitative and qualitative), identifying trends, patterns, and the “so what” behind the data

• Contribute to high-impact reports, presentations, and data visualisations used by senior stakeholders

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery across multiple projects

• Manage your workload across concurrent studies, maintaining strong organisation and attention to detail

• Build relationships with external partners, respondents, and data sources to support global research delivery

• Contribute to the development of new research approaches, tools, and thought leadership content

• Stay up to date with industry trends across healthcare technology, bringing fresh thinking into your work

• Support client discussions and proposals, gaining exposure to the commercial side of the business

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding markets at a deeper level.

• 2–5 years’ experience in a research, insights, or analytical role (agency, in-house, or academic)

• Strong experience in trend and market analysis, forecasting, and primary research interviewing

• Confident working with data – able to interpret, challenge, and translate findings into meaningful insight

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present clearly and objectively

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines

• Collaborative mindset – comfortable working with internal teams, clients, and external partners

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (or equivalent data analysis and visualisation tools)

• Interest in healthcare, technology, or adjacent markets (e.g., life sciences, IT, medical devices)

• A proactive, curious approach – someone who naturally asks “why?” and looks beyond the obvious

What’s on offer?

This is a business that genuinely invests in its people and provides an environment where you can grow quickly and meaningfully.

• Salary of £36,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

• Personalised bonus linked to performance and contribution

• 27 days holiday + bank holidays, with flexibility and option to buy more

• Hybrid working model with flexibility around hours

• Health cash plan including virtual GP, wellbeing support, and gym discounts

• Company pension and life insurance (3x salary)

• Structured training, mentorship, and clear progression pathways

• Exposure to global clients and high-impact strategic projects

• A collaborative, inclusive culture where your ideas are valued
