Epicor Kinetic Systems Engineer

Epicor Kinetic Systems Engineer

Location: South Wales (Hybrid)

Salary: £70-85k / Negotiable

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing business seeking an Epicor Kinetic Systems Engineer to take ownership of its ERP environment and play a key role in future digital transformation initiatives.

This is not a traditional ERP support role. We are seeking an Epicor Kinetic power user who builds and supports the platform, not a Project Manager who implements it.

The successful candidate will act as the technical and strategic lead for the Epicor Kinetic platform, working closely with business leaders across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations to optimise processes, improve system performance and drive long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the administration, performance and ongoing optimisation of the Epicor Kinetic ERP environment

• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for complex ERP issues

• Lead system upgrades, testing cycles and release management activities

• Design and develop Epicor customisations using BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards and Kinetic UI/App Studio

• Support integrations with third-party applications through APIs, EDI and REST services

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities

• Lead ERP enhancement projects from requirements gathering through implementation

• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and operational leadership

• Support reporting and analytics initiatives across the business

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance where required

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience supporting and enhancing Epicor Kinetic (Epicor ERP 10/9 considered)

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and operational workflows

• Advanced experience with BAQs, BPMs, dashboards and customisation tools

• Solid SQL Server and database management experience

• Experience building integrations using REST APIs and related technologies

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience leading ERP improvement, optimisation or transformation projects

Highly Desirable

• Cloud-hosted Epicor experience

• Multi-site manufacturing environment experience

• Power BI or advanced reporting capability

• ERP implementation, migration or upgrade experience

• Experience supporting global operations

Why This Opportunity?

This role offers the opportunity to become the key Epicor expert within the organisation and directly influence how technology supports business growth, operational efficiency and future transformation initiatives.

You'll have visibility across the organisation, work closely with senior leadership and play a critical role in shaping the future ERP landscape.
