Audience Development Manager

Location: London (4 days per week in the office, Monday–Thursday)

Salary: Up to £40k + £3k OTE

Language requirement: Fluent Italian & English (essential)

The Opportunity

We’re hiring an Italian-speaking Audience Development Executive to join a growing international events business operating within the technology space.

This is a highly relationship-driven role focused on building and managing senior-level audiences for large-scale live events. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and retaining decision-makers, ensuring strong attendance, repeat participation, and long-term community growth.

This role suits someone with a proactive, account-management mindset who enjoys owning relationships, working to targets, and being part of a fast-paced, events-led environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the delegate audience strategy for assigned events, with a strong focus on an Italian flagship event
  • Proactively sourcing, qualifying, and engaging senior-level attendees via phone, email, LinkedIn, and CRM
  • Building long-term relationships to drive repeat attendance and audience loyalty
  • Working closely with Marketing to complement campaigns with hands-on, outbound engagement
  • Managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring both delegates and partners receive a strong return on investment
  • Supporting sponsor and partner relationships as part of a broader commercial ecosystem
  • Tracking activity and performance through a CRM system (Salesforce preferred)
  • Contributing to onsite event delivery and delegate experience

What Will Make You Successful in This Role

  • Fluent Italian is essential – you’ll work extensively with Italian-speaking audiences and stakeholders
  • A proactive, account-management approach rather than a passive, inbound mindset
  • Confidence in self-sourcing leads and picking up the phone to engage senior professionals
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple touchpoints over time
  • Commercial awareness and a clear focus on delivering value and ROI
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and outreach
  • Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple events per year
  • Happy working in an office-based, collaborative culture four days per week

Why This Role Is Appealing

  • Work on a large-scale flagship tech event with circa 3000+ attendees
  • Join a growing international business with an expanding global events portfolio
  • High exposure to senior decision-makers across technology-led organisations
  • A role that blends audience growth, relationship management, and commercial thinking
  • Clear progression opportunities as the event portfolio continues to scale
