Head of Infrastructure Forecasting & Analytics
London Hybrid (c.2 days per week in office)
Circa £90,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits
We are partnering with a highly regarded international intelligence and media business as they build a data and forecasting platform focused on one of the fastest-growing infrastructure markets globally.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a leading role in building the forecasting and modelling capability.
Operating within an established business but with the pace, autonomy and influence of a scaling start-up, the successful individual will help shape forecasting methodologies, analytical frameworks, product direction and long-term intelligence strategy.
The role will suit an individual who combines strong quantitative and analytical capability with commercial awareness, leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex insight clearly to senior stakeholders.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and owning forecasting and modelling frameworks
- Building and leading a specialist analytics capability
- Producing market sizing, demand and capacity forecasts
- Working closely with commercial, product, research and leadership teams
- Supporting the integration of predictive analytics, AI and machine learning capability
- Translating complex analytical outputs into commercially valuable insight
- Helping shape the long-term analytical and product roadmap
The Person
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience across forecasting, modelling, predictive analytics, capacity planning and commercially focused analytical environments. Candidates may come from infrastructure, operational, utilities, telecoms, energy, digital or other complex data-led sectors where forecasting and strategic insight play a key role in decision-making.
The successful individual is likely to possess strong quantitative grounding, ideally supported by a degree within Mathematics, Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Engineering or a similarly analytical discipline, alongside experience leading teams or analytical functions and communicating insight to senior stakeholders. Exposure to AI, machine learning, econometrics or advanced modelling techniques would also be advantageous .
