Senior NodeJS & TypeScript Developer (Open Banking)

Role Overview

• Position Type : Contract (Outside IR35)
• Location : Fully Remote, UK-Based
• Rate : Up to £625 per day

Key Technical Requirements

Core Technical Skills

• Expert-level TypeScript and NodeJS development
• Deep understanding of backend development
• Proven experience with:
• NTLS (Network Time Security)
• JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
• JWE (JSON Web Encryption)
• OAuth protocols
• Strong security protocol implementation experience

Technical Depth Expectations

• Not just using security tools, but demonstrable experience in:
• Designing and implementing security architectures
• Building authentication and authorisation mechanisms
• Understanding cryptographic implementations

Additional Technical Preferences

• React knowledge (beneficial but not primary)
• Experience in retail banking or fintech sectors preferred
• Background in startup or high-growth technology environments

Leadership and Communication Skills

• Strong team lead capabilities
• Ability to:
• Translate complex technical challenges into business outcomes
