Linux Engineer | Low-Latency, High-Impact Systems | FinTech (London Area)

We’re hiring a Linux Engineer to join a high-performance platform engineering team driving innovation in global trading and large-scale compute infrastructure. If you're passionate about low-latency systems, automation, and solving complex engineering challenges — this is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and optimize Linux environments
• Tune systems for low-latency trading and machine learning workloads.
• Build and maintain IaC and automation pipelines using Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and refine data center operations, from networking to power and cabling.
• Continuously improve infrastructure for scale, resilience, and performance.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of Linux engineering experience in high-performance environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash), solid Ansible know-how.
• Expertise in networking, observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Git, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud (AWS) is a plus.
• Bonus: Experience with GPU servers or on-premise storage integration.
