Cast UK is supporting an industry leading global organisation in their recruitment of a Stock Analyst within the inventory department. Joining an established team, you'll be performing regular KPI reports across multiple customer stock holdings within the warehouse, whilst working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy of data. You'll play a pivotal role within the inventory team supporting individual stock profiles, job clocking reports, compliance checks and maintain and improve data extracts within SQL. The role is Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports for Inventory, Operations and Senior Management review.
  • Prepare Job Clocking reports and productivity reporting, highlighting trends, exceptions and areas requiring operational review.
  • Produce ABC analysis across multiple clients and recommend pick-face review, storage strategy and stock layout improvements.
  • Write, maintain and improve approved SQL/data extracts.
  • Support system compliance reporting, including putaway, storage, picking, relocation and inventory process checks.
  • Develop and improve reporting tools using Excel, SQL and approved reporting methods, reducing manual work and improving consistency.
  • Provide ad-hoc data support to the Inventory Team Leader, Inventory Supervisor, Stock & Systems Manager and Senior Management.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, with comprehensive background in data validation and report building.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability to interpret data into practical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data before reporting.
  • Ability to communicate data clearly and concisely to leadership teams and management.
  • Proven understanding of warehouse, inventory or contract logistics processes.
  • Able to prioritise multiple reporting deadlines and ad-hoc requests.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficient manual processes and propose better reporting solutions.
  • Experience using WMS such as CargoWrite or RedPraire.
  • Experience with Job Clocking, labour productivity reporting, PowerBI or report automation.
  • CompTIA Data+ Certificate or equivalent.
