Compliance Officer
Castlefield are currently working with a Housing Association in the Manchester area who are looking to recruit a compliance officer to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify information and evidence to assess contractors’ competencies in line with the agreed framework. Act as the primary point of contact for supplier onboarding queries and manage the processing and administration of related documents.
- Enhance and maintain the performance management system to ensure all contract documentation is current and compliant with contractor policies and procedures.
- Design and manage a performance dashboard to monitor contractor documentation, collaborating closely with the Building Safety Team to confirm that all risk assessments and method statements are up to date and meet activity-specific requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate system records, ensuring contractor documents are stored, updated, and organised in accordance with standards.
- Support the wider Customer Safety Team with procurement-related activities.
- Update and manage operational IT systems and document management platforms.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to support internal and external audits when required.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential for this role, along with experience in implementing and monitoring annual and cyclical service programmes, compliance databases & management plans.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and legislation (fire would be beneficial)
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, residents, and external agencies
