Our end user client is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to work on the support and optimisation of their D365 finance platform and integration with SCM and various third-party applications.

The role will involve 3 days per week on site in London and has been deemed inside IR35.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years Dynamics 365FO/AX experience (preferable D365 FO Certified)
  • Finance background/qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Support & Functional Development of Finance /ERP systems (essential)
  • Demonstrates an understanding of business processes and business practices and financial systems
  • Displays a sense of urgency, focused on the achievement of deliverables to the highest quality in a pressured environment
  • Ability to grasp complex systems and implement practical solutions
  • Organisational skills – ability to organise & work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Main Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support, enhance and configure the below modules:
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Chart of Accounts, Project Management, Sales/Purchase Orders, System Administration, AXtension Invoice Processing
  • Develop and maintain well-documented solutions to Finance Business Requirements
  • Act in an advisory capacity to the Finance community, 3rd party solution providers, Finance Systems team and other IT departments to:
  • Propose tactical solutions and mitigate risks due to known issues
  • Articulate Finance Systems issues and participate in the remediation where appropriate
  • Provide solution designs, document data mapping, and data validation between systems
  • Drive resolution of exceptional errors
  • Review and approve reconciliations, investigate variances and provide commentary to the Finance team
  • Provide functional expertise and mentorship with a focus on D365 & Financial processes
