I’m partnering with a London-based AI startup that recently secured Series B funding and is developing cutting-edge AI-powered products. They’re looking for a Senior or Staff Backend Product Engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems and building systems that can scale as the product grows.
This role is perfect for strong builders and product thinkers, who are comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy, and want to help shape the platform for thousands of users. 💡
🛠️ What you’ll be working on
- Scale and evolve backend systems as the product grows
- Design and build reliable APIs and services
- Support infrastructure for AI-powered features 🤖
- Optimise database performance and efficiency
- Improve monitoring, reliability and observability 📊
- Collaborate with engineers, designers and product teams to deliver impactful features 🤝
- Build products from concept to MVP and iterate quickly based on user feedback
💻 Tech environment
- TypeScript / Node.js
- AWS and Terraform
- PostgreSQL
- Serverless architecture (e.g. Lambda)
