Our client is a global tech business seeking an accomplished CFO to join the organisation and operate as a strategic partner to the CEO while building a world-class finance function. • Own the end-to-end investor relations strategy, engaging effectively with U.S.-based institutional investors, analysts, and the broader investment community, including earnings preparation, guidance frameworks, and market communications.
  • Develop a compelling, data-driven equity narrative tailored to U.S. capital markets, clearly articulating the company's investment phase to scalable profitability.
  • Design and implement a scalable global finance operating model across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements alongside U.S. reporting expectations.
  • Establish and continuously enhance financial control frameworks, including SOX compliance and readiness, audit processes, and enterprise risk management structures.
  • Define and execute a disciplined capital allocation framework aligned with expectations of U.S. public market investors.
  • Lead all aspects of M&A activity, including cross-border transactions involving U.S. entities, from target identification through to integration.
  • Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alternative financing arrangements, including engagement with U.S. capital providers.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable experience as a CFO or Deputy CFO within a U.S. publicly listed company, ideally on Nasdaq or NYSE, with deep familiarity with SEC reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of a Nasdaq or NYSE listed business, including regulatory filings, reporting obligations, and earnings communications.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with Wall Street, institutional investors, and analysts, with clear credibility in the U.S. investment community.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. capital markets, investor relations, and financial governance within a listed or listing-ready company.
  • Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, including U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance, alongside international standards where relevant.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling finance functions within complex, multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction organisations.
  • High intellectual agility, resilience, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial and strategic trajectory of a business at a defining moment in its life cycle. The CFO will have a direct impact on value creation, market positioning, and long-term success, working alongside an ambitious leadership team.
