E-Rostering Trainer
Job Title: E-Rostering TrainerLocation: Manchester (UK-wide travel required) - Full driving license and car requiredContract role - 6-month rolling
Rate: £200 - £250 per day (outside IR35)
Are you passionate about supporting teams through digital transformation? We are looking for an experienced E-Rostering Trainer to play a key role in the successful rollout of our new e-rostering system across multiple sites in the UK.
You'll be joining a leading provider of specialist mental health and healthcare services, supporting thousands of dedicated professionals working in hospitals and care settings nationwide. With a strong focus on improving patient care, staff wellbeing, and workforce efficiency, this organisation is investing in innovative digital solutions to make a real difference to both service users and colleagues.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering training sessions and workshops on the new e-rostering system for staff at all levels.
- Providing specialist helpdesk support to staff and managers, resolving system-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensuring accurate data entry and ongoing system maintenance.
- Producing and sharing monthly KPI reports, along with ad-hoc data analysis.
- Supporting the rollout, implementation, and upgrades of rostering modules (bank, clinical, and non-clinical).
- Assisting in the development and implementation of rostering policy.
- Working closely with IT, HR, and Finance to ensure workforce data is aligned and accurate.
- Liaising with third-party software providers for technical issue resolution.
- Acting as a champion for system adoption, encouraging positive change and engagement across the organisation.
- Travelling across the UK to deliver training and support at multiple locations.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to rostering complexities and data discrepancies.
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment (clinical or administrative).
- Involvement in supporting or managing project elements.
- Experience working within a large organisation or team.
- Handling confidential and sensitive data.
Desirable experience:
- Exposure to complex projects and change management.
- Knowledge or prior use of rostering systems.
- Experience in delivering systems training.
Additional requirements:
- Willingness to travel independently across the UK.
- Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours.
