Interim Procurement Office - ICT & Digital
Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are looking to hire an Interim Category Officer for their ICT & Digital category. This is a home based, 3 month contract (potential to extend), that will operate INSIDE IR35 on a day rate up to £300 per day on offer.
The successful candidate will work within the ICT & Digital team and support Category Managers to develop and issue ITT documentation, advertise tenders, help ensure compliance and help achieve value for money for the Authority. The Authority is looking for someone overall to manage strategic/operational procurements and renewals at c£50k up to threshold value.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience in a similar role in the UK Public Sector is required
- Understanding of the new Procurement Act would be advantageous
- Experience running requirements in ICT & Digital is required
- Experience using a range of Public Sector Frameworks such as CCS's G-Cloud, DOS, Tech Services etc. would be advantageous
