Senior Accountant - Technology Sector

Location: London, Victoria (Hybrid - 3 days in office)Salary: Circa £70,000 + Excellent Benefits

A dynamic and fast-paced global Technology business is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing EMEA finance team. Reporting to the Head of International Accounting, this role focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and driving process improvements across the region.

You'll act as the lead for one of the group's EMEA entities, working closely with global stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting under IFRS, with exposure to US GAAP and local GAAP requirements. Ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close and prepare complex journals and reconciliations
  • Perform P&L and balance sheet analysis, present findings to senior leadership
  • Manage statutory audits, financial statements, and tax compliance
  • Research and interpret accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP)
  • Support systems implementation and drive process improvements
  • Act as a key finance contact for compliance, audit, and operational matters

About You

  • ACA /CA/ CPA qualified with 2 + years' experience
  • A deep technical understanding of IFRS (+ US GAAP would be an advantage but not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experienced with large ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Additional languages such as French or German would be advantageous
